Johns Hopkins EHP (Employer Health Programs) is one of the largest self-funded health plans in the country. Established in 1996, this health insurance plan serves over 55,000 plan members in Maryland, Southern Pennsylvania, and Virginia, and provides plan members with access to over 14,000 healthcare providers in Maryland.
To enroll in Johns Hopkins EHP, the plan member must be an employee of, or otherwise eligible for enrollment through of one of the following:

Free one-on-one health coaching program – How would you like to have a one-on-one health relationship with a personal health coach to help you create an individualized action plan for optimal health? EHP plan members get access to such a service.
Free Care management Program – Free chronic disease management care program for those with chronic conditions.
A large dental insurance coverage network – The EHP dental benefit, offered by some EHP plans, is administered through a partnership with a third party company, United Concordia Companies Inc (UCCI). Members of EHP dental plans get access to a large network of Maryland dentists, along with a national network of dentists.
